Does the word 'code' or 'terminal' still scare you?

This week I recorded a podcast with Mark Webster from Authority Hacker to talk about why Claude Code matters for marketers. Not developers. Marketers.

Mark fought Claude Code for months (I did too). His business partner kept telling him to try Claude Code and he kept brushing it off. Then he finally gave it a shot.

His take on Claude Code now? A 6 to 10x productivity gain over someone using ChatGPT.

Here's what stood out from our conversation:

• The Name is the Problem - "Claude Code" sounds like a developer tool. It's not. Mark builds thumbnail generators, video editing workflows, and email systems with it. Zero coding experience.
• Skills Replace Your GPTs & Projects - Think of Skills like SOPs for AI. Build them once, tell Claude to update itself when something changes. No more digging through old system prompts.
• Claude Code Fixes Itself - Mark had installation errors on day one. Instead of Googling, he typed "fix it" and Claude handled it. That's the mindset shift.

The reality is this: if you wait another year to figure this out, the gap between you and someone using these tools effectively could be 10 to 20x.
