🤯 Why I Switch to Google Gemini Over ChatGPT

Idk about you but I've been quietly using Google Gemini more than ChatGPT lately.

Whether it's content creation, research, data extraction, and other tasks I find myself liking Gemini 3 the more I use it.

I haven't canceled my ChatGPT Plus subscription, but in my latest video I explain why I'm using Gemini more than ChatGPT now.

🚀 5 Ways I'm Using Google Gemini

Here's the full breakdown of how I'm using Gemini 3:

1) Content Creation

I'll be honest - I'm still using ChatGPT/Claude for most of my writing but when it comes to images and video, Gemini 3 is WAY ahead of the pack.

Nano Banana Pro is arguably the best AI image model ever created... I'm creating client-ready infographics with zero text errors in one prompt.

Plus, you can recreate popular memes (Spider-Man pointing, Scooby-Doo mask reveals) with custom text for your brand.

Gemini also has Veo 3.1 built in, so you can generate images and turn them into animated videos in 60 seconds.

Pro Tip: I recommend trying 'Google AI Pro' for more usage, better models, Veo, and more.

2) Research

Gemini 3 has access to Google's entire index, YouTube transcripts, Scholar data, and more in real time.

GPT-5.1 Thinking is solid, but Google's training data and recency advantage is massive for current information.

I asked it to research Warren Buffett's latest investing moves, and it pulled earnings calls, balance sheets, and even YouTuber analysis instantly. It even created a mini ETF called the "Power Stack Portfolio" based on the research.

(Side Note: I'm bullish on the energy sector to capitalize from the AI boom)

3) Leveraging Google's Workspace & Integrations

This isn't new, but you can connect your Google Workspace apps (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) natively with Gemini.

Google is already using your workspace data to train Gemini models whether you toggle this on or off. So you might as well take advantage of it.

Also think about your usage history of EVERY Google owned entity: YouTube, Chrome, Maps, Flights, NotebookLM, AI Studio, etc. Eventually we will be able to leverage all of that data with Gemini.

So how am I using this right now? Well here's one example - I upload video files in a Drive folder, share the link, and Gemini extracts all transcripts automatically for repurposing.

Pro Tip: I would NEVER integrate my Google Workspace with ChatGPT or Claude because it's third-party and I don't want OpenAI or Anthropic collecting my Gmail/Drive data.

4) Extracting Data

You can drop a YouTube URL, PDF, SOP, long article, etc. directly into Gemini and it will extract the important details in seconds.

This isn't new of course, but Gemini 3 has a massive context window that can handle and extract more data than other AI models. This is especially useful for extracting data from YouTube videos.

Think about it - YouTube is within Google's ecosystem so Gemini can provide a better analysis vs ChatGPT or Claude.

5) Betting on Google's AI Dominance

Google's moat in data and infrastructure is so massive compared to other AI companies (OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Meta, etc.) that unless they self-sabotage, I don't see how anyone beats them.

Google has billions of YouTube videos to train Veo, billions of Google Images to train Nano Banana, Google Scholar data to train its reasoning models, plus all of its data from Google Search, Gmail, Drive, etc. etc.

That's why I want to be in their ecosystem and always have the latest and greatest AI models for content creation, research, and other use cases.
