This conversation with Sabrina Ramonov completely changed how I think about AI business models and making money with AI. I made a full YouTube video breaking down our entire chat. AI Education (Start Here) This is where I started, and where everyone should start. The formula: Learn something about AI today, share it tomorrow on social media. You don't need to be an expert, just one step ahead of beginners. And I'll be honest - I struggled with imposter syndrome (and still do sometimes) but launching my YouTube channel in 2023 has made me realize that most people don't know anything about AI. Here's the crazy part: If you know the fundamentals of ChatGPT and Claude, you're ready to teach. There are hundreds of thousands of people who don't even know how to take a screenshot on a computer... Short Term Revenue comes from ads, sponsorships, affiliates, consulting, etc. Long Term Revenue comes from having a real business on the back end like an agency, SaaS product, eCommerce site, etc. π‘ For full transparency I run a marketing agency and use my content to build trust, generate leads, and create other revenue streams. Click Here if you are interested in working with me. My Advice: If you decide to become an AI educator I suggest TELLING THE TRUTH. I would bet <5% of AI creators out there are telling the truth right now. That is your opportunity as most AI creators are sellouts. Start with YouTube and TikTok. Post weekly on YouTube and daily on TikTok for one year. The results will compound faster than you think! 2. AI Workshops & Training Once you start creating content, you'll get inbound requests for this. I get them all the time even though I don't actively promote workshops. Side Note: If you're interested in hiring me for an AI Workshop or Training I'm down to chat! Companies feel FOMO about AI but have no idea how to adopt it. They'll pay you to teach their teams ChatGPT basics, what AI tools they should be using, or simple AI workflows. I've seen AI "experts" charge $1,000-$5,000 per workshop. Some scaled by creating workshop kits that teach others how to run their own workshops. My Advice: Don't overthink this. You can help local businesses clean up their website, polish their systems with AI, or teach them to post on social media. Use AI to be 10x more efficient than traditional consultants. 3. AI Community Once you build an audience through #1, paid communities and consulting opportunities follow naturally. The community model: Nate Herk runs a Skool Community that makes over $2 million per year with very high profit margins and few employees. His funnel: YouTube videos, emails, and a free community to eventually drive people to his paid community. Communities work because people pay for speed and support. They want answers to their questions, accountability to implement, and a network of people solving the same problems. My Advice: Start with free content, build trust, then offer exclusive access to your paid community for deeper training, resources, and direct support. 4. AI Automation Services I know it sounds sexy right now to start an AI Automation Agency, but most are not thinking about this the right way... The AI Automation gurus sell you on "$10K/month passive income." The reality? Constant troubleshooting, broken APIs, outdated systems, and clients expecting miracles. But real opportunities do exist. After analyzing 100+ UpWork automation jobs I found these trends: Lead generation & qualification, auto-reply systems, browser scraping, RSS monitoring with AI content creation. The work is messy. Every client has different tools that don't connect. You'll debug workflows late at night when things break. My Advice: Only do this if you genuinely enjoy solving technical problems. Otherwise, build your audience first with #1, then decide if this is for you. If starting an AI Automation agency interests you then I suggest joining my friend Jack Roberts Community. I've learned a lot from him and he is one of the few AI Automation creators who's actually built things in the real world. 5. AI SaaS (Vibe Coding) This is the hardest path for most people but the biggest upside. $1M ARR could sell for $5M to $20M. Tools like Cursor, Lovable, Claude Code, Replit, Google Antigravity, etc. make it possible for non-technical people to build real products. Sabrina's story of selling her AI SaaS startup for over $10M and now her growth of Blotato to 1000s of paying users is super inspirational. βDaniel Nguyen and Danny Postma are a few other examples of everyday people using AI to make serious money from vibe coding SaaS. But before you go down the rabbit hole, here's the brutal truth: You need both product AND distribution. Look at Sabrina Ramonov's strategy with Blotato: AI + Social. She reaches 1.5M+ people per week for free, which gave her SaaS instant profitability. She admits building her product too soon and should have spent another 6-12 months creating content first. My Advice: Build your audience first, validate your idea with real feedback, then build the product when you have distribution ready. π« Why 99% of People FailStart with #1 (AI Education) because it doesn't close off anything else. Every profitable AI business I studied built an audience first, then monetized. Most people fail because they fall into two traps: Trap #1: The Passive Income Lie Stop believing the "$10K/week passive income" AI hype. Passive Income β Passive Effort Examples of AI Passive Income traps: AI-generated ebooks, faceless AI videos printing money on autopilot, AI Agent/Automation templates that run your business while you sleep. The most successful people I know in AI committed to 1-5 years of hard work before seeing real results. Not 30 days. Not 6 months. Years. Trap #2: Making Excuses "The market is saturated." Wrong. Can you name three AI creators in law, accounting, real estate, or finance? "I don't know what I'm talking about." Wrong. If you understand the basics of ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini you are already ahead of most people. "I need the perfect setup first." Wrong. Your insecurities are stopping you, not your tools. The Real Problem: Most people want outcomes without work. They want to skip the content creation, skip the audience building, and jump straight to selling something. That's why 99% of people fail. The people making real money have spent 12+ months building trust through content before making a dollar. π§ Final NoteThe moment you shift from consuming social media to documenting and sharing what you learn, your life trajectory will drastically improve.
