🎬 My Sora 2 Tutorial

OpenAI's Sora 2 is all the hype right now, and I spent a few days testing this AI video model so I could give you my honest feedback vs rushing out a video like most YouTubers.

Now here's a quick breakdown of what actually matters:

Sora 2 Important Details:

• Sora 2 Website Access: An invite code is still required to access Sora's Website. But now sites like Higgsfield AI and even HeyGen are providing Sora 2 access.
• Sora 2 API Access: You can now use Sora 2 via API from OpenAI or through sites like KIE API (cheaper).
• Cameo Setup: When creating your Cameo, talk the ENTIRE time during recording, not just when asked. Also I recommend setting your Cameo to "mutuals" or "only me" for privacy concerns...
• Settings to Change: Turn OFF "improve model for everyone" under data controls. You don't want your content training OpenAI's models.
• Limitations: 10 seconds max video duration (for now), only 3 video creations at once, and a TON of issues with content "violating guardrails"
• Watermarks: Here's a free Sora watermark remover I've used but you can also Google 'free Sora watermark remover" and find one.

🚀 3 Ways to Create Sora Videos

Enough of the boring stuff lol here are some helpful tips you can use to create Sora videos:

Tip 1: Remix Existing Videos

Go to the explore tab, find a video you like, click remix, then scroll left to find the original.

Copy that prompt into ChatGPT and ask it to repurpose the prompt using your Cameo and something relevant to your niche.

Example Prompt: "I'm going to provide a Sora 2 prompt and I want you to repurpose it using my cameo and something that's relevant to me [Insert Sora Video Prompt]."

Tip 2: Repurpose Your Existing Content

Take existing content (YouTube videos, podcasts, blog posts, etc.) and feed the transcript into ChatGPT.

Ask it to generate 3 Sora prompts based on recurring themes in your content. This creates videos that match your actual voice and style.

Example Prompt: "I want you to generate 3 video prompts for Sora 2 based on [Insert Your Content] I provide. Keep in mind these videos are only 10 seconds long so you must grab someone's attention instantly with a good hook."

Tip 3: ChatGPT Agent Mode (More Advanced)

You can also use ChatGPT Agent mode to research trending Sora videos across the internet, identify patterns, then generate prompts tailored to your niche.

I tested this method and it researched recurring themes (pop culture mashups, retro commercials), then created custom prompts for my niche. You can also use Perplexity for this same research approach.

Example Prompt: "I want you to research the Internet and find trending/viral Sora 2 videos and look for reoccurring themes. Keep in mind these videos are only 10 seconds long right now so you must grab someone's attention instantly with a good hook. Come up with 3 video ideas to start and include the prompt for each one. Also keep in mind my niche is [Insert Niche]."

🤐 My Brutally Honest Take on Sora 2

I'm going to be real with you here because this needs to be said.

From a technology standpoint, Sora 2 is incredible. It's faster, crisper, realistic, and WAY better than Sora 1.

But in my honest opinion - Sora is a net negative for society overall.

Here's why I believe this:

1. There is not one benefit that comes from people doom scrolling AI-generated videos on a social media app.

• We already have people destroying their attention spans on TikTok and Instagram. This isn't making anyone's life better. It's not solving real problems. It's just more digital junk food.

2. This is a waste of tech talent and resources.

• OpenAI could be prioritizing so many other things right now to improve society. The amount of engineering talent, computing power, and millions that went into building this Sora app is a disgrace.

3. The Deepfake problem just got 10x worse...

• OpenAI's guardrails are already being bypassed. We're opening Pandora's box with defamation, misinformation, and identity theft on a scale we've never seen before.
• This Sam Altman deepfake video is just one of MANY examples.

💰 The Next Billion Dollar Opportunity

Here's what I think happens next: Someone creates a non-AI social media network that will print money.

As every major platform gets flooded with AI slop (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.), people will start craving human authenticity again.

No one asked for 100% AI-generated social media feeds.

A platform that verifies human-created content, maybe through blockchain or some other authentication method, will be the counter-trend everyone's been waiting for.
