🤖 Inside the AI SEO System I Built

Most AI marketing advice online is theory. People who have never run marketing for a real business telling you what should work.

I spend my days in the opposite spot - deep inside 7-figure businesses and building things to figure out what actually works.

And that's exactly what separates me from every other 'AI Influencer' - I do real world AI marketing work.

This week I built an AI SEO system for Blotato (one of my clients) that researches, writes, fact-checks, and publishes fully optimized content on its own. I give it the strategy. It does the heavy lifting.

The workflow runs off a Google Sheet synced to Claude Code (with Skills).

Each row is one post, and you'll notice I add inputs to the columns like Skill, Keyword, Title, URL Slug, Unique Angle, etc.

The system grabs the next post labeled 'Not Started,' researches it live, writes it, checks it for quality, and stages it for me to approve. Technically speaking this is called a 'cron job' created by Claude Code.

The first post from this new SEO workflow went live this week and already ranks one on Google in less than 24 hours.

🛑 Why Most Automated SEO Systems Don't Work

Here's the part nobody selling "automated AI content" wants to talk about: most of it is slop and tanks.

ClickUp lost 97.6% of its blog traffic in 15 months, 1.19 million visitors a month down to about 28,000. The kicker? Its backlinks actually grew the whole time. It was never a link problem. It was slop.

So the whole game is scale WITHOUT the quality falling apart. That's where the real work lives:

• It fact-checks itself, adversarially. A second pass tries to disprove every claim. On the first post, it caught 3 real errors stated with full confidence. Wrong pricing, wrong feature claims, gone before a reader ever saw them.
• It scans the whole blog for duplicate content so nothing reads templated.
• I approve every post before it goes live. Keyword, angle, title, slug, the calls that decide whether a post ranks or buries the site. The machine drafts. I make those.
• Every post needs a unique angle. If a draft just restates the same consensus as the top search results, I kill it. I will not ship the recycled average everyone else publishes.

Here's my honest take: AI is not the edge. The real move is to automate the 95% that's mechanical, the research, the drafting, the formatting, the checks, and keep a human on the 5% where the brand and SEO risk actually live.

And this works. The same system took my client's site to over 20K clicks and 662K impressions in just a few months.

Volume is free now. Hype is free. Slop is free. What's rare in 2026 is a real person with real expertise running a disciplined process and shipping results.

That's the work I do for clients, and the kind of build I walk my Community VIP members through, not the recycled theory you see everywhere else.
